speak French as a second language Less than 1% of the 72 million people
living there are Christians - most live within the stronghold of Islam.
In sub-Saharan Africa, the Muslim-Christian fault-line stretches from
Senegal across the Sahel to Ethiopia and along Africa’s Indian Ocean
seaboard. The potential for conflagrations and confrontations is high
because of increasingly aggressive Islamic movements. Islam’s influence
has gained ground in the western French-speaking nations too. Literature
plays a huge part in sharing the gospel in these countries because it
is often the only way into Islamic countries.
Bringing FEEL is a necessary step forward in the evangelization and edification of the people in these difficult places.
